MagiCats
MagiCats Studio Wiki

Build a world. Make it mischievous. Share the challenge.

This wiki explains the blocks inside MagiCats Studio in plain language. If a block makes a trap smarter, moves a monster, opens a door, or starts a boss moment, it belongs here.

The essence of the game

A kid builds a hand-painted platformer level, sends a challenge link, and a parent tries to beat it. The fun is the friendly rivalry: the kid is the maker, the adult is the brave test subject.

Blocks are first code

Blocks are not sold as schoolwork. They are how you make traps smarter: if the player gets close, attack; if a button is touched, open the door; if a boss is hurt, change the pattern.

Kid-safe by design

No chat, no DMs, no ads, no gems, no daily pressure. Playing shared levels is free, and the one-time family license unlocks publishing and the full builder.

1

Pick a subject

Choose a creature, door, platform, frame, or other object in your level.

2

Snap blocks together

Use actions, controls, conditions, numbers, variables, and units to describe what should happen.

3

Test the trick

Play the level and tune the timing until the challenge feels funny, fair, and just a little mean.

Block guide

69 current blocks, 9 advanced blocks, and every saved enum ID documented for old levels.

About the old wiki migration

The original Fandom wiki had 81 main pages. This new wiki keeps those legacy slugs reachable where they help, but the block explanations are rewritten from the live Unity code so they match what the game actually does.

Legacy source: the original community wiki archive, rewritten here and checked against the live Unity code.
